Are you a British woman with an inspiring tale to tell or practical advice you’d love to share? We’d love to hear from you.
Pitch us your ideas for a guest blog post and if it fits with our mission statement we’ll probably say “hell, yeah”!
Contributing bloggers are unpaid but will receive an author bio with links to your own blog/website and social media profiles. Please note, purely promotional blog posts will not be published.
Email your pitches over to firstname.lastname@example.org.
British women aged between 23 and 30 who are driven to succeed in their career. They’re likely to be renting at the moment but looking to buy a home of their own in the near future. A Chapterthirty girl is hellbent on making her dreams a reality. She’s approaching her next chapter in life and wants to get her shit in order.
The main topics covered by Chapterthirty are career, home, money and travel.
Please don’t send submissions without pitching us the idea first. We want to be able to agree the topic and understand the rough outline of what your post will be about before it’s written. We don’t want you to spend time drafting a post that doesn’t fit within our mission statement.
Submissions must be original and not previously published anywhere online. Please send your completed blog post as either a Google Doc or a MS Word file. Attach images as .jpg files within a .zip file.
Embrace whitespace – think headings, short paragraphs and bullet points to ensure your post is easy to read.
Post titles must be in sentence case and no more than 70 characters in length.
Please don’t be offended if we suggest changes to your blog post. We may email you asking for revisions, or make small edits ourselves, such as changes to titles, headings, grammar and spelling.
Any links within the post should be relevant and useful resources for the reader. No affiliate links will be accepted. The editor reserves the right to remove links as they see fit.
Your submission should include a featured image 1000px x 667pz.
If there are particular images you would like to submit to go in the blog post please send them with your submission. Please ensure you own the copyright to any image submitted. We don’t want any lawsuits on our hands!
Upload a photo of yourself at gravatar.com (if you’d like a photo to show next to your bio) and let us know the email address you use for that site.
Please include approx 30-60 words as a bio. A link to your own blog/website may be included along with links to your social media profiles – Facebook page, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, Pinterest and YouTube. Contributors to Chapterthirty may amend their author bio at any time to reflect current projects, etc.
If we agree to publish your guest post, the date it’ll go live will depend on the Chapterthirty editorial calendar. We will let you know when it’s going to be published so that you can promote your post.
Chapterthirty promotes all posts via Twitter, Facebook and Google+. Your post may also be syndicated to other outlets. Contributors are encouraged to distribute their post throughout social media.
Please check the blog post intermittently to respond to any comments.
If you’d like to write for Chapterthirty, please email email@example.com with your pitch!
